Common Language
N°10 - June 2024
There's a misunderstanding between the individual and the collective. This misunderstanding is undoubtedly fuelled by the contradictions of our times, a time when geographical boundaries are increasingly debated even as they vanish through digital technology. A subjective reality where authenticity is clothed in a declension of filters. Yet the collective remains a sum of individualities. It's their diversity that tends to make us think of them as entities with incompatible values. But if the community is made up of different personalities, what brings them together? Common Language. A common language. That of bodies telling a story, always singular and unique. The language of art, which links the most distant cultures, stirs the emotions and initiates dialogue beyond stereotypes. This magazine was born of our desire to share this universal language. An atypical editorial project, it was initiated by the Chantelle Group, a group of brands with different histories. Complementary visions united around a common philosophy that puts quality, creativity and simplicity at the forefront.
